My Background
I studied at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City for two years and was ordained by them as an Interfaith Minister.
My Spiritual Background includes Quakerism as a child, followed by a spiritual journey in my 20s and 30’s (reading Eckhart Tolle, Neale Donald Walsch, Pema Chodron and many others) and landing me today at Unity of New York where I've served as head of the Leadership Committee, as Coordinator of Sunday Book Discussion, as a Prayer Chaplain, and where I served on the Board of Trustees for 7 years, including 2 as President.

Wedding Officiant - I meet with couples to create a ceremony that respects their unique spirituality, blending cultures and traditions, or making something completely unique for those who are spiritual but have no specific faith tradition. I am registered in NYC as a Wedding Officiant.
Baby Blessings - I love working with parents to create a perfect naming ceremony and baby blessing. I have access to many options and can make suggestions that fit your needs. And I will tailor the ceremony to your baby and her or his name. Plus, I'll keep it brief enough for the baby!
Speaking - I've spoken at Unity of New York, Unity of Long Island, the New Thought Spiritual Center of Long Island, Unity of Norwalk, and Unity of Montclair. I’ve taught classes and led Town Halls and hosted the service at Unity of New York many times.
Professional Performer & Writer
I’ve performed in many plays and films. I also write songs and am a member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop. I sing (as a tenor) and have written upbeat songs for the Buddha and Jesus, which I’ve performed at Unity of New York and in Connecticut. See my songs and performances at RobertYarnall.com
