Toxic Masculinity affects us all. Rev. Yarnall speaks about the importance of re-integrating the Feminine into ourselves and our society, with references from Riane Eisler, Eckhart Tolle, Debbie Ford, Walter Wink, and Jesus (Matthew 5:38-45). Rev. Robert includes personal experiences with the feminine aspects within him, and looks at the need we have to heal our collective shadow, our dis-owning of all things feminine. Loving our enemies also means loving those "enemies" within.

John Shelby Spong (1931 - 2021) - Episcopal Bishop serving Newark from 1976 to 2000 - is a spiritual hero of Rev. Robert's. This talk serves as an introduction to his life and thinking.

Spiritual Authority; Truth & Fiction in the Stories We Tell Ourselves - Individually and in groups we create stories about life then repeat them until they box us in. Who is "narrating" our life? How do groups create collective stories that harm others through racism, sexism and other biases? This 15-minute talk, given via Zoom on 8/8/21, explores all of this with references to the Hebrew Bible, Jesus, Buddhism, Gandhi and Einstein. 

Overcome with Joy!  Delivered via Zoom for New Thought Spiritual Center of Long Island, this 15-minute talk covers the spiritual side of adversity as honored through Passover and Easter.  Often the Joy we experience is related to how we process the adversity in our life.

Living Love in the Modern World 

March 15, 2020 was the first of many broadcast-only services for Unity of New York given during the Covid-19 crisis. The talk covers the importance of love right now especially and delves into what the word can mean if we dig deeper than the usual Hallmark and pop song cliches.
